Quinografía

A film about the life and dreams of the creator of Mafalda

Through previously unseen images and testimonies, we discover Quino, his work, and his world. Alongside him, we journey through his biography, his origins, and the long path that led him to become a global icon—before finally returning to his native Mendoza, widowed and nearly blind, to bid farewell to the light of his childhood.

Quinografía also seeks to reflect on artistic ways of approaching archival material and on how the present and the past engage in dialogue, guided by a Mafaldian certainty: adults have no idea what they are doing with the world.
