ARCA at MACA

From January 10 to 16, 2026, ARCA – International Festival of Films on Arts celebrates its 5th edition at MACA – Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Atchugarry, reaffirming its role as a key space for reflection on art, images, and contemporary thought.

This edition presents a carefully curated selection of international films that explore key figures in art and architecture, examine the museum as a living space, and place authorship, power, memory, and representation in dialogue.

The program includes special screenings, meetings with artists and filmmakers, and activities that expand the experience beyond the screen.

ARCA 2026 also features:

ARCA Kids, with proposals for children and families
Américas Originarias, a space dedicated to Indigenous artists from across the continent
ARCA Conecta, a professional platform bringing together Uruguayan film and audiovisual projects focused on art

With each edition, ARCA continues to grow as a space for encounter and critical reflection. This fifth edition celebrates the path traveled while inviting audiences to rethink who tells the history of art—and from where.
